About 40 high school students in Oregon pulled a senior prank last Friday, where they filled the hallways with desks and replaced the erasers in classrooms with hot dogs.  And the principal was so angry about it, he fined each student $47 and said they couldn’t walk at graduation.

But the parents of the kids were even angrier . . . that their kids were being punished.  They argued that we’re losing our sense of humor about these things.  So the principal backtracked.

TODAY’S GOOD NEWS

A woman in eastern Arkansas named LeAndra Clay lost her house in a fire about a month ago.  And she’s been living in a shed without any electricity since then.

But she recently came forward after hitting the lottery for 150 GRAND.

She matched four out of five numbers in the Powerball drawing, plus the Powerball number.  Which would have been $50,000.  But she paid $1 extra for a Power Play, which multiplied her winnings by three.

She says her first thought when she found out was God really showed up “on time” for her.

She’s planning to donate some of her winnings to her church.  And she’ll use the rest of it to buy a new house, and a new car.

  1. Researchers have designed a quieter airplane toilet.  The reason they’re so loud is because it takes a lot of suction to flush a toilet without using much water.  The ones now move air and water at 300 miles per hour . . . almost half the speed of sound . . . through pipes are at 90 degree angles, with valves that open and slam shut quickly.  It’s like a roar.  The new design would add a more gradual curve to the pipe, and move the

valve farther down.  They haven’t made it yet, so here’s what it sounds like now.
