Oxford Country Police are searching for a suspect accused of swiping $187,000 worth of cheese. An unidentified man went to a business in Tavistock just south of Stratford around 7:45 a.m. Friday and provided paperwork that the cheese would be shipped to New Brunswick. A trailer was loaded up with cheese and the man drove off in a transport truck, but the cheese never arrived at its destination.
it was not immediately clear what kind of cheese was involved. Anyone with information on the cheese heist is urged to contact Oxford County Crimestoppers

Derry, New Hampshire town officials recently opened a time capsule on its 50th anniversary of being sealed. It was empty. No one knows where the contents could have gone, or holds a list as to what they could have been, if anything. Some speculate it could have held some Alan Shepard items in it, who was the first American in space and from Derry.
The story about the New Hampshire town finding an empty time capsule reminds us of Geraldo Rivera’s embarrassment when in 1986, he opened a vault in Chicago that MAY HAVE belonged to mobster Al Capone. Work crews blasted through concrete to find almost nothing, and it all happened on live, prime time TV. ______________________________________________________________________________

She has officially joined the cast for the 28th season, alongside James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek), Kate Flannery (The Office), Hannah Brown (The Bachelorette), supermodel Christie Brinkley, former NFL player Ray Lewis, former NBA player Lamar Odom, Mary Wilson of The Supremes, Karamo Brown (Queer Eye) and President Trump’s former press secretary Sean Spicer.

GOOD NEWS
A woman in Tulsa went shopping last Monday, and left her BABY in the car on the hottest day of the YEAR so far. The high was 99 degrees, and the heat index was 116.
It’s not clear how long the kid was in there. But luckily, a woman and her 12-year-old son walked by . . . heard the kid crying . . . and realized they had to do something.
The 12-year-old’s name is Ben. And his mom gave him permission to break a window. So he grabbed a ratchet strap from their trunk . . . the kind you’d use to tie stuff down to a roof rack.
He swung the heavy metal end of it, and tried to shatter the driver’s side window. But he only cracked it. So then he started swinging at the windshield, and BASHED it in.
Once it broke, he climbed on the hood . . . pulled the broken windshield OUT . . . climbed inside . . . and unlocked the car.
The baby’s face was bright red, but it’s okay. Police gave the mother a $250 fine but decided not to arrest her. Social services are looking into it now though.

An Old AOL Commercial Predicts the Dangers of the Internet
We found an old America Online commercial from the mid 2000s called “The Internet Is A Bad Thing”.
It talks about how all the good stuff on the Internet could easily turn out bad. The scary part is that it’s all come true. Your identity can be stolen, your home “invaded,” and your savings can be robbed without anyone setting foot inside your door.
Yes, you can purchase just about anything you want, but at the same time, everything you do is watched, monitored, and processed without you ever knowing about it.
They call the Internet “one of the most dangerous weapons ever created” . . . and now that we know it can influence elections, shut down power grids, and be the go-to place for hate groups, well . . . sounds about right.
HACKERS CAN TELL WHAT PEOPLE ARE TYPING JUST BY LISTENING THROUGH A SMARTPHONE’S MICROPHONE
Our smartphones allow us constant access to a wealth of information, but they also give hackers constant access to us.
Researchers found hackers can potentially tell what you are typing on your computer just by listening to your keystrokes through your smartphone’s microphone. They found it was possible to tell exactly what keys were pressed on a keyboard with up to 41 percent accuracy, even with significant background noise.
This method could be used to learn passwords or steal credit card information. Researcher Mitch Thornton says, “We wanted to understand if what you’re typing on your laptop, or any keyboard for that matter, could be sensed by just those mobile phones that are sitting on the same table. The answer was a definite ‘Yes.'”

MORE MEN ARE GOING TO SPAS AS MEN EMBRACE THE WELLNESS INDUSTRY
Spa visits brought in a record $18.3 billion in 2018 in the United States, according to the International Spa Association. The group notes that they’re also seeing a lot more men going to spas.
The trend began as early as 2007, when the association reported 49 percent of spa customers were men, up from 29 percent in 2005.

✗ Anything fried: Greasy, fatty foods get through your system slower than protein and carbs, so your body will still be hard at work by the time you try to fall asleep. (So why does that stuff knock me out in the afternoon if I have it for lunch?)

✗ Workout supplements: Sports shakes and snacks often contain caffeine to pump up athletes’ performance. (Well, there’s one food that I don’t have to worry about!)

ALABAMA POSTPONES REMAINDER OF ’50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR’
Alabama is postponing the remainder of its 50th Anniversary Tour due to lead singer Randy Owen‘s ongoing complications with cluster migraines and vertigo.
The group had hoped to continue its record-breaking 50-city tour, however, doctors have advised more time is needed for Randy to fully recover.
Rescheduled dates for the tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
ERIC CHURCH’S ‘DOUBLE DOWN TOUR’ IS A ONE-TIME THING
Eric Church‘s fans who have already seen or will see him on his current Double Down Tour are witnessing something from “The Chief” that is a once-in-a-lifetime. [“The Double Down Tour was as far as I want to go from a challenge point. I love that we did it. I love that it was a success. I love that there were people that came to both nights and go it. There were people that came to one of the two nights and got it, but at the same time, it’s not something I would do again. I think that’s good. I think that if you’re a fan, you got to see something that you’re not gonna get to see it again. The Double Down Tour, where Eric performs two nights in a row in the same city with different set lists, was launched earlier this year.
The next leg of the tour begins on September 13th and 14th in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Congrats to Dan + Shay‘s Shay Mooney and his wife, Hannah, who are expecting their second child! They announced the news, along with the fact that they’re having another boy, on social media yesterday (Wednesday, August 21st). They made the reveal with a series of pictures and a short video starring their two-year-old son Asher, who said he was “having a baby brother!”
