A young boy is recovering in hospital after being run over by a tractor. Emergency crews were called to a farm on Countryview Line around 8:30 last night after a man accidentally backed over his three-year old son. The boy was taken to hospital in Chatham and then air-lifted to London as a precaution. | |

A Chatham man is facing a grocery list of charges following a crash. Police alleged the suspect rear-ended another vehicle on Park Avenue East yesterday afternoon, and then fled the scene. However, the force of the crash ripped off the vehicle's front bumper, including the license plate. The driver was tracked down a short distance away and arrested. | |

Charges have been laid against a Chatham man, accused of bilking an elderly woman out of close to $1800. Police say the man first contacted the 90-year old victim in mid-June, telling her she needed new gutter guards on her house and offering to do the work. He took some money for a deposit, and managed to steal her debit card and PIN number. | |
