| Charges Laid After Chatham Crash | Fri Jul 30th, 2010 |
A Chatham man is facing a grocery list of charges following a crash. Police alleged the suspect rear-ended another vehicle on Park Avenue East yesterday afternoon, and then fled the scene. However, the force of the crash ripped off the vehicle's front bumper, including the license plate. The driver was tracked down a short distance away and arrested. 38-year old William Poole is charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, driving without a license, impaired driving, refusing to provide a breath sample, obstructing a police investigation, and taking a motor vehicle without consent. | |
